FINE stands for Fundacja Inicjatyw dla Nowej Edukacji (Foundation of Initiatives for New Education) and is an organization that serves the purpose of developing the skills and attitudes of the future. We support the growth and development of children, youth, and their caregivers through access to training, workshops, educational materials, and a psychosocial support center. Our goal is to help build good relations, openness towards other people, and communication skills.

Among other things, we operate:

  • Day Care, i.e. day care center for Ukrainian children,
  • Meeting Point, i.e. intercultural center for children and youth,
  • Centrum FINE, i.e. training, educational, publishing, psychoeducational and psychological support activities.

Through active action, we want to enable building and participation in an open community based on respect, trust, and good communication. We support the development of social, emotional, and communication competences in children and youth because this way, we, together, pursue the vision of a mindful society being open towards other people.

The other person and their needs are always at the center of our actions, and we want to support them the way we wish to be supported ourselves. The best we can.The other person and their needs are always at the center of our actions, and we want to support them the way we wish to be supported ourselves. The best we can.

A place where children, youth and adults can have an enjoyable time.

Projects

Meeting point

A place where children, youth and adults can have an enjoyable time.

Day Care

A friendly place where we daily take care of 100 children from Ukraine aged 2 to 6 every day.

Polish Language Learning

We create and distribute unique materials for learning Polish as a foreign language.

New Education Center

It comprises self-development workshops, training projects for educators, and a publishing house.

In September 2022, in collaboration with the Zustricz Foundation, we opened an Integration Meeting Point in Małopolski Ogród Sztuki (Małopolska Garden of Arts) where intercultural, intergenerational and integration classes take place for whole families: Ukrainian and Polish, including workshops and Polish learning as a foreign language classes.

Our efforts include interventional education, psychological help, and psychoeducation. The emerging Program of Psychological Education and the publishing house both help us deliver these statutory goals.
